Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

In short. 1001 Tracker does not collect, sell or share personal data. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

What stays on your phone. The films you mark as watched, your notes, your settings and any file you import from Letterboxd are stored only on your device. The developer never receives them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Backups. "Export my data" creates a file on your device. It goes only where you choose to send or save it (for example email, a cloud drive or a chat).

Posters and links. Posters are loaded from Trakt's image server (media.trakt.tv) and cached on your device; no personal data is sent with these requests. Links to Letterboxd, Trakt, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, JustWatch and Wikipedia open those sites, whose own privacy policies apply.

Children. The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes. This policy may be updated with new versions of the app; the date above shows the latest change.
