1001 Tracker

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 6, 2026

By installing or using 1001 Tracker ("the app") you agree to these terms.

What the app is. 1001 Tracker is an unofficial, independent app for keeping track of the films in the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" list. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the book's editor, authors or publisher, nor by Trakt, Letterboxd, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, JustWatch or Wikipedia. All film titles, posters and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Your data. Your watched films, notes and settings are stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping a backup (Settings → Export my data); uninstalling the app deletes them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services. The app can open services run by others (Letterboxd, Trakt, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, JustWatch, Wikipedia) and import your own Letterboxd export. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Film information. Film data, plots and posters come from public sources (Wikidata, Wikipedia, Trakt, the 1001 Movies fandom wiki) and may contain errors or omissions. 1001 Tracker uses Trakt but is not endorsed or certified by Trakt.

Acceptable use. Don't use the app in ways that break the law or the terms of the connected services, and don't try to misuse those services through it.

No warranty. The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data or other damage arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Changes. These terms may be updated with new versions of the app; the date above shows the latest change. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.

Law. These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
